I just picked up a Type 56S from Bullitt3401 and
I would like to get a fix on the year it was made. Notable markings:   SILE N.Y N.Y. The bolt is not blued. Thanks

I have one exactly like it NIB. I was wondering the same. I am guessing late 80's time frame.

From Indykid @ theakforum.net: the Sile imports were imported in the mid to latter 1980s, with most coming in during 1988 and 1989. |
