About two years ago I got this Hungarian AK on a trade.  I don't know much about it other than its diffinately post-ban.

It was imported by KBI, and has a FEG receiver.  The FH is welded on, and is of a stange pattern - trumpet-like with holes all around.

The stock is not quite a thumb-hole arrangement, but is one-piece that incorporates the pistol grip, and is made of a rubbery plastic material.  Same for fore end.  (It really does feel good and is very comfortable)

I might also mention that this was imported as a ten round rifle, but has been milled to accept double-stack mags.  It also has had the bayo lug and cleaning rod mounts ground off.

I have been toying with re-configuring this rifle into a pre-ban status by the addition of the appropreate stock set, rethreading the barrel and installing a shorter gas system.

Is that doable?  Is it worth it?
