Hello,

Thank you for having me in you forum.   I am in the process of buying a SLR95 and I am curious what would be the best and cost effective folding stock to replace my oem stock.  The ones that I have seen are around $200-$300 dollas...is that what i am going to be spending??  Thanks

Yes, that is abaout right.  You might want to wait until KVAR releses the tubular folder as found on the SFC carbines, later this year.  It's the authentic Bulgarian and would be most appropriate.

Do you have official word from K-var that they are going to do that?

Took my own advice.
Just bought a cut the dang tang folder for my "new" mak .223.
Has the slant rear but I think it will look almost good enough.

I will post pics in about a week.

Not KVAR, but from Arsenal's folks back in BU.  I went there TDY for the Army a couple of months ago and one of their factory honchos told me that after they fill a couple of big foreign mil sales orders, they're finally going to make these folders available for Arsenal USA and KVAR.  Seemed credible to me. Keep your fingers crossed.  If they're hesitating, maybe when they see how many ACE units sell and soon, Alex Robinson's excellent design, they'll jump in full steam.
