Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SLR-95, Metal finish and how to duplicate?

What is the original coating process on the SLR-95 metal parts.  What is the best way to match replacement parts to the original finish on receiver and other metal parts? There will come a time when something will need replaced and I would rather not do a complete refinish just to get a match.
