Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - RPK 5.45 Flash Hider for .223?

Will the RPK flash hider (K-Var part number RPK-014), which is stated to be designed for 5.45x39 ammuntion, work with .223?  Threading is 14x1 left, so that is fine, just want to make sure it has enough diameter for the 5.56.  My SAM-5 emits a major fireball with XM193 ammunition.

I was thinking of going the sme way too, until I learned that SEI is coming out with suppresor-capable G6A2 Vortexes for AKM/AK47 and AK74 weapons.  However, if you want to stay 100% Bulgarian, that part may be the way to go.  Right now I have the Romanian cone flash hider on mine.  Looks OK and seems to work fine.
