Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SAM5 mag compatibility?

Just wondering if you weren't able to get anymore 5.56 waffle mags what else would work in a SAM5?  I've heard that Polish Beryl mags might work, but don't know about robarm mags, wieger mags, or what ever is out ther.

The Polish magazines might work fine, but I don't have any hands on experience with them.

The Bulgarian mags are available now and if you're nervous about supply, I'd stock up on them.

Yup got me a few waffle mags.  I'm just musing about shtf scenario.  Actually I'm thinking of trying a Beryl mag out.  They come in 20 rounders, something I wished the waffles came in.

There are too many .223 mags which work fine only in a particulare rifle... The SAM-5  was designed around the Bulgarian 5.56 mags. For trouble free operation stick to this rifle - mag conbination.
