Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gordon Tech

I purchased a Gordon Tech SAR10? during the AWB. It is a classic AK style design, reparked with old wood. The barrel nut was welded into place as to not show the evil threads underneath. Now that  the AWB is dead, can I cut the weld?

Legally? I am cautious being that there are NO USA parts in it from what I see.

Well, I'm not holding your rifle in my hands so I can't take a look at the guts, but I'm pretty sure that the fire control group is Gordon Tech, and it probably has a US gas piston in it as well.

If it doesn't have any US parts in it now, it's already illegal with the pistol grip stock set.

I bought it direct from them baaack when I HAD an FFL. Never did any modifications on it. Will the USA parts be stamped or how can I prove that they are USA made?
