Anyone build one of these on the Nodak corrected receiver? If so, how did it go together,and how does it shoot? Pics if you have them.

I bought 2 painted parts kits from ORF,
and 2 receivers from NoDakSpud. But..... I've been waiting 8 months for the builder [whom has my parts] to build them...

I bought two ORF Wood Kits and two NDS Receivers
I have one done and the other will be done in a couple of weeks It went together like a dream and It shoots even better

I got one painted from them I modified on a NDS-2SF and it works beautifully. Also got a couple wood biggie sized kits when they offered them for 20 bucks more you got a new RPK mag.
 Built one up on a fixed stock w/ dyed wood and it went together great. The other is slated for a 100 series build when I get around to it... Nodaks are Great! |

I had this one for awhile.
 Built on an NDS "Corrected" receiver, but after months of trying to figure out why why had bad ejection problems I finally sold it as a parts gun to somebody else who took it to a good AK smith and had the problem fixed for $25. It seems that my NDS receiver had an AK47 rail on the left side instead of an AK 74 rail. Grrr, that was the most accurate AK I have ever owned. |

This is what they look like out of the box, it is the second kit of two that I bought, the first one is pictured above
From the looks of it, it is brand new, and it has been saw cut The wood is in great shape, and I am not going to do anything with it All numbers match, and it even came with a brand new Russian Plum Magazine        |

Built mine a year ago on one of the "not quite perfect" NDS2s. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Has about 300 rounds through it without a hiccup so far (knock on wood). EXTREMELY accurate. Can't wait to go out and shoot it again!

The Bulgarian wood on the AK-74 is "odd".
The butt stocks appear to be the usual "Pisswood" but the lower handguards have an almost American Walnut look with the grain and color. |
