This is going to sound complete full retard, but is there a simple way to tell if my front sight is canted? I have tried every trick I can think of and it looks straight from all angles and it looks fine...except when I look throught the rear sight-they just don't seem to line up properly. am I just crazy eyed?

Lay a good straight edge along the receiver, positioned so it extends to the fsb. Measure the distance from the straight edge to the fsb.
Repeat on the other side, making sure the straight edge is in the same position relative to the fsb.
If the measurements are different the fsb is canted.

Try looking with your other eye and see if it looks canted in the opposite direction.
