My friend just took his new Yugo under folder to the range yesterday. When the first round fires, the bolt throws back enough to eject the round but the carrier doesn't seem to go back far enough to properly strip the next round from the mag. Some of the ejections were a little weak as well. He tried with two different Yugo mags, both with the same problem. It seems like a gas pressure issue. Any idea on what the problem might be?

Is this a Century gun?

Yes it is... We just spent close to three hours filing off sharp edges, cleaning out a fouled up gas block assembly and tube and removing casting flash on the fire control group parts. It not seems to function much more smoothly. We wont be able to get back out to the range for a few days.

Is this yugo the m70 ab designation w/ the grenade launcher cut-off sight? if so, is the grenade launch sight closed down? If it is, your gas cut off block may be messed up and not opening all the way for sufficient gas pressure to fully cycle the bolt assembly.
