What's a good pair of gloves for shooting.  My AK gets pretty smokey hot.  I don't want 3rd degree burns after 2 mags.  What gloves are good enough and won't melt. thanks.

Is that the green ones with the stripe thingy?

They come in sage green, black, and OD (crewman's gloves).  Not sure what you mean by the stripe.  They're made out of calf skin and nomex.  They've got great dexterity and breath really well.

I use the Nomex flight gloves too.  They are nice for heat and not bad in cold weather also.  They provide good dexterity for shooting.

I got a pair today, thanks again.  They seem to fit pretty well.  I'll try them tomorrow.

I went to the army surplus store yesterday to check out a pair but,  couldn't find any.  I think for summer they are a little long in the wrist area.

I like these:

and Nomex gloves are good also, but durability can be a problem. If they are too long for you then roll them up.
