Norinco MAK-90. You can buy them in thumbhole configuration in the $350 range and convert them to a 922r compliant pistol grip rifle for under $100. Much better made weapon than the WASRs.- from another thread-

US made FCG    G1 or G2 works great You may have to recontour the back of the hammer to match the original. A dremel or bench grinder works well,  but take your time so you don't heat up the hammer.   You can get US made Magazine floorplates or followers.

US made stock.  If you like wood, and don't mind finishing it, go to Ironwooddesigns.  afaik, They are the only ones who have US made wood stocks for the "slant cut" MAKs

Some MAKs are already cut out for underfolders.  Others can be cut out with a dremel.  

The milled MAKs are some of the best quality out there.

add a US made G2 double hook & a set of US made ironwood furniture and you will have a sweet looking Ak. Assuming the muzzle is not threaded you will need 5 US parts for a stamped Ak & 4 parts for a milled Ak. The G2 counts towards 3 & the stock counts towards 3. Give you a total of 6 US parts and the option of threading the barrel in the furture and adding a non US break.
