Okay guys-I am getting ready to send my SLR-105 A1 away to be turned into an AKS-74 clone. With the stock installation, and then refinishing, it will be gone 6-8 weeks. I hate to lose one of my favorite rifles for the entire spring, but at least it should be back for summer. Anyway, post your pics of your AKS-74s! Hopefully that will help assure me that this stock is worth the lost time and money.

Thanks

It will be well worth the wait. You could always get one of each.

how does the 45 rounder work? is the rifle still manageable with the foot long hangin out of the bottom?
I want to get one, but dont wanna waste the $$ if it is too big for anything other than a benchrest

That magazine is a safe queen, well maybe a safe king considering its shape, lol. All it does is add 15 extra rounds, for target practice the cheap 30's are fine, for cool factor you cant beat an RPK 45rd magazine. McM

used Izhmash plum mags

everytime i see your rifle i cant help but say to myself  "ohhh you lucky bastard",...definatly a rare one,...what does the
feed ramp on your trunnion look like?,..is the trunnion 22mm or 23mm?

what i wouldent give to be alone with that rifle for a hour with a sharp pencil,.. graph paper,..a good
digital camera,. and a  micrometer

Can you even close the folder with the Kobra on there? Seems like it wouldn't lock up right with anything installed on the side rail. Sure looks cool on there though....
