i have a polish underfolder kit on the way.  gonna do it next.

spraypaint.  

this one was for learning and making jigs.  although i like the way the paint looks, im gonna find a better finsh for the next one.

thats what my AKS-74 is finished in until i can get it redone,.....i used krylon flat black then semi gloss black on mine,... not the best but it will do for now

What prevents them from backing out the right side?

The rivets aren't long enough to make heads.  He just smashed them flat.

yea, i actually had a post asking about this.  the rivets in this rivet kit were a little too short to for heads.  they arn't going anywhere though since they are smashed tight into the trunion.  also they catch the left side of the receiver for 1.0 mm.

That's one of the nice things about using rivets, they expand inside the trunnion when they are squeezed and become very tight.

Stevensville is about 30 miles south of Missoula in the Bitterroot Valley along hwy 93.  It's about 15 miles north of Hamilton.
I've only been to Great Falls twice.  Last time I was there was about 10 years ago.
