Good luck finding any with a date code, so they are all pre-ban.

Come on, take a chance. They are all preban, that is why they are allowed to be imported during the 'ban'.

"Large capacity ammunition feeding device" means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device, manufactured after September thirteenth, nineteen hundred ninety-four, that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than ten rounds of ammunition; provided, however, that such term does not include an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition. NY Law doesn't even mention Date codes. What are they gonna do , have CSI test them?

That was my understanding, as well. Pro-Mag or whoever makes the US waffles, those are most definitely not pre-ban. The Bulgarian waffles are. |

I have some "preban" ones...They sell for a premium...lets say $30 a piece and I'll even write a letter that to the best of my knowledge, they were manufactured preban

They may be able to show that polymer 5.56 mags were not pre-ban mfg over there, but for std 7.62 steel mags they have been the same for many decades.
