Well I'm down to one RRA AR-15. I've really converted to the dark side.
I had at one time 4 AR's and one MAK90. Now it's 1 AR and 3 AK's with one on order.
I go back and forth between the different platforms.

While I'm going to keep both my AR's and AK's, I can't argue with your decision.

Sold my Bushmaster to buy another Vepr....
but I'm keeping my retro AR. And getting a middy sometime.
After I get a couple more AK's.

I also continue getting more of each.  I love both platforms.

Have to agree with you there. My first AK (SA M-7 carbine) along with my favorite AR. They seem to get along ok so far. Hmmm, the Ak does apprear to be a bit better endowed, hope that doesnt cause any problems.

have to agree with what was said above.

BOTH platforms kick ass, AK's are just a little more evil now that everyone and their grandmother owns an AR15.

btw,

Parrandero  tell me about the AR.

What build/brand?  Where did you get the new A1 stock set from?

interested in building something like that.

The Ar's and Ak's are both fine rifles.
But why would you sell one that you allready have?

Nothing wrong with the "other" platform:

True nothing wrong at all adn that is a nice one but honestly they just bore me- AK's just look cooler for some reason.  Hell I keep mine all in the same caliber so that way I can decide which to take to the range.

I just recently shot my new Bushmaster M4, and I am not 100% but I think I may like it more than my AKs!  There will be further test, so we will see.

I have 5 Ar's right now most of them will be SBR and supressed soon. I will just buy more AK's instead of selling any of my guns. I did change one of my AR's to it original life. Here. Before After
