ive been helping my cousin try and find a rifle first it was the SVD but he cant find anyone with it in stock. so now he found an AK74, only problem is it has a boyo lug. now to make it legal, if he took the bayo lug off, would everything be fine. i know only 2 out of the 5, and all it has is the mag, and pistol grip. no folding stock no F/S only a boyo lug. so would it all be legal if he removes it?

thanks.

I am not saying that you won't get a quicker response here, I am just saying that you should post it in your hometown forum also.  You may just get speculation here, where in your hometown forum you are more likely to get facts.

I neutered a coouple of 74's for a customer in CT. No bayonet lug and the brake has to be permanently attached before it gets in state. Mario Piece of History Firearms Tucson, Az   www.pieceofhistoryfirearms.com
