I don't see the point of the heavy barrel or the RPK receiver.
They add weight without adding much benefit, especially the barrel. Sure it's a little more accurate, but a Saiga is plenty accurate for what it is, a 0-300 yard weapon. Not to mention the VEPR's non standard furniture. BTW, I own a VEPR. |

I own lots of both. The Vepr is high class, cadillac style, the Saiga is a Toyota.
Both will perform very well, the Vepr is just more refined aestheticly. |

The veprs weird stock bugs me. At least you can make a saiga look like a proper AK, and with tony at tromix doing good cheap work its pretty painless.
