The local gun shop has an Arsenal ban configured 7.62 x 39, with a fixed underfold style stock.

Can this be converted to an underfolder that actually folds?  Would it require a US made folding stock (if such a thing exists)?  Would the receiver require modification or would it just be removing the fake folder style stock and replacing it with a "new" underfold stock assembly?

I don't remember the model number... and the more I think about it as I type this, whether it is a stamped or machined receiver!

How is it fixed? Welded?

Usually a dremel will take care of that!
