thanks. One more - do rifles that come with thumbhole stocks have the holes to install a pistol grip?

again yes but make sure you are still parts compliant after installing the pistol grip, also depening on the rifle watch out for slant cut receivers as the will only take ironwood stocks as far as i know.

The rifle will be a Hungarian FEG SA-85M, my very first AK47.
Have already spent much time trying to learn all about 922r, thanks. What a pain in the ass! The pistol grip will be US made as well as few more inerns. |

Help!
I removed the top screw but the stock will not break free. It seems that there is another screw buried within the stock but can not get to it. Any thoughts? |

Theres a screw that is covered by the top cover. Did you remove that one? If you did.. some stocks just fit tight as hell.. it'll come loose eventually.

Easy to put in just drill. To get out a rubber mallot and second pair of hands, pull in opposite directions while alternating striking the sides of the stock. Be careful where you hit on thumholes.

OK, stock is off, Only saw the one screw and was banging away. Top Cover came off without effort and had to move the spring to get to the OTHER screw. Thanks all! |
