The wood pistol grip on my Norinco 56s has a little spot where the Poly has worn off. What is the best way totouch this up?I was thinking of scuffing up the grip with #3 wool then spraying with poly, and polishing with #00. Any suggestions?

Ehh, thats tough, it will always be a low spot.

I would take off the grip, strip it entirely, and re-spray the entire grip with a few coats...it won't take much longer, and the finish will be even...

What would be the best thing to strip it with? I dont want to hurt the color on the grip
