Has anyone put an Ultimak scope mount onto a Saiga 7.62X39 with the standard Saiga hand guard?

This is my Saiga. It should fit with minimal work I'd think. I wonder if the Vepr Ultimak rig would work.

Thanks...I have a Saiga 7.62X39 that I want to keep in original condition but I want the Ultimak mount.

Enyone actually put an Ultimak onto an original front hand guard setup????

I think the Ultimak is too wide. I think you'd have to do some cutting on the hg.

I know their web site shows a special deal for a VEPR handguard with clearances made...

Thanks guys...I did email Ultimak and they think that the answer is no. I would have to put standard AK front grip on.
