I just ordered a case for my sidefolder. What are you guys using? I have found a 10/22 softcase fits an AKM really well.

I've found SG's cases to be inexpensive and pretty well made and well padded. I have a short one for my AKM and a longer one for the SKS.

I keep my underfolder in an M60 Barrel Bag.  It fits perfectly and makes a nice discreet package.  The side pockets also hold mags.  I have 2-30rd and a 40-rd mag in the side pockets.  It makes a package that looks almost like a tennis racket bag.

I use the WOLF 27" case. AmmunitionStore.Com has them for $19.99, they are ok. I would like to get some of those soft drop cases from Tantal, but they are like $30 or so...

A gun case??

Oh yea... i remember those... I used to have to use them when i lived in Illinois.

Then i moved to Kentucky.   Cases??   WE dont need no stinking gun cases!!

Actually i use a case for the magazines... the gun just happens to fit in the same bag....

I like the Russian drop bags myself. It works with a lot of rifles besides the AK and it dont really look like a gun case.

Padded paintball gun cases from Sports Authority for $5 each.  My AMD-65 and M70 fit snug and the case has pouches for air canisters that fit mags perfect.

Me too!

I just fit (1) 40 and (1) 30 per side pocket for easy access and (1) 20rd mag in the rifle.

You can substitue the 40rd mag for a bayonet.

Drop cases are nice.  You can keep one mag in the internal pocket.

My "YONEX" tennis bag will fit 2 folders w/ a 30rd mag inserted.

Divider for 2 folders.

Finally, I have a large canvas bag for multiple rifles carry.

One of the two Polish green canvas drop cases I bought on EBay came in today. Apparently he shipped them separately. Common practice, I hear they have less trouble with their customs that way. It's in unissued condition. Matches the canvas on my Polish mag pouches! It only took a week to get here once he shipped them. Not bad service all  the way from Poland! These will make very nice storage cases.

The Uncle Mike's 33" tactical rifle case works perfectly for my M70 underfolder, and it is less than $20 at Midway USA with a C&R dealer discount!  The mag pouches also hold AK 30 round mags with no problem.
