Ok, well an AKM is different from an 'AK-100'. In fact, I dont know if there is even such a thing as an AK-100. The 100 series are 101-108, AK-100 is a just a term that kind of means something similar to the series. The only similar thing between the rifles is a polymer folding stock, so most of the time you see 100 or AK-100 style, its in a thread about folding stocks. Other than the stock, the 100 series comes in 3 different calibers, different barrel lengths, different FSBs, and even a new recoil management system.
