Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How thick is an ak74U?

Im about to make a cardboard model of an AK74U, I have all my measurements figured out, but I cant tell exactly how thick it is in terms of "top" or "bottom view"
Any help would be much appretiated.

I would say about 1.5 inches, didn't measure, just eyed it down.... Dont know where the ruler is.
