I have recently purchased a Romy GP WASR-10 and want to replace the slant brake with either the AK-74 style or the Krink style.  I one type better than the other?

the 74 "style" brake will drop your recoil a bit and make things a tad uncomfortable for those to the side of you.  the krink is not a brake but actually a gas booster to help cycle the super short actions on a krink, and the knockoffs do absolutely nothing but make it look like you have a krink booster on the muzzle.
