I want to put a slant brake on my SAR-1.  I thought I was going to buy a US made brake but then I saw a "canted" Romanian slant brake on K-Var.  What the hell is this and do I need to have this instead of my original idea.  What is the advantage and disadvantage to this brake.  It think the straight brake looks better but if someone can tell me there is an advantage I may take another look.

A properly mounted slant brake is canted to the left. This way,the gasses are released up to the right and pushing the muzzle, down to the left. You hardly notice any effect on semi but the difference is quite noticable on full auto.
