Ok guys, I'm buying a Romanian AK in 5.45 x 39mm (AK74), which model should I buy:

The Romak
SAR
WASR

I have access to all three models, all in the $350-$400 range which model would you buy, BTW all three are new in the box.

good prices, Go with the SAR. They have WARSAW Pact MilSpec recievers.

The SAR-2 since it is 5.45x39 and you have a choice.

Intrack Mk I (7.62mm) or Mk II (5.45mm)

Notice NO marks on the receiver AND indentation for the third pin...too bad it cannot be installed legally.

These rifles came in in 1997 and in my opinion are the best of the Romanian guns if you can get one.

If you notice the front end, it is in the process of being converted into a Romanian Military clone with the side folder, bayonet lug and Break. AK-USA will do the conversion. It will lok just like this:
