My SAM7 carbine stock is too short for me.  So I plan to change the buttstock to either a sidefolder or a standard NATO length stock.  I see that KVAR offers two diferent types of buttstocks:  the regular style, and the in-line style (seen here:  http://www.k-var.com/shop/product.php?productid=16713&cat=283&page=1)  What are your thoughts on the in-line buttstock?  What are its handling properties compared to a regular stock?  Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Thanks for attaching the picture.

Why don't you care for them?  Do they drop your line of sight down too low?

Is that the wing of a Cadillac?

You're right.  It does look like a Cadillac wing.    I'll stick with a traditional buttstock.  Thanks, guys.

I like the AK for it's traditional commie appeal.  That particular stock has none of that, and is somewhat 'brokeback', IMO.

If you want a contemporary, modern weapon, there may be some better choices out there.  If you want an AK... get an AK.
