I just purchased a Yugo underfolder kit that I plan on assembling sometime in the near future.  The thing is I go to school in MI which considers ANY rifle under 26", I believe, to be a pistol.  Although any pistol with a buttstock is an SPR and thus illegal.  I am just wondering how long it would be assembled?  Worse comes to wose I could attach a muzzle device.

With a permanent muzzle device?  26-30" in Michigan considered a pistol, needs purchase permit and registration.  Under 26" SBR, no way to own.

So if I register the reciever as a pistol I can own it then?  I thought there was something about a pistol not being able to have a stock.
