Did it work on the SAIGA>??
How did you get the standard forend to fit over the Ultimak?? Mine didnt seem like it wanted to fit properly. I like a red dot type sight on them. I also have a pistol scope i can use on it for a scout style set up. Use the dot for close in stuff, and use the Scope for longer stand-off distances. KyARGuy |

I converted my Saiga over to standard hg's and it fit perfect.

No, it is real close but not quite there. I need to get the low ring from ultimak to be able to co-witness. |

I ahve been toying with putting the Ultimak on my AK, but co-witnessing is my main concern I am also set on mounting a Kobra. Does anyone have this setup?

I don't see how you would be able to co-witness with a kobra, the base is way too high. You could use the kobra with the throw lever mount so you could remove it quickly if there was a malfunction.

I think I am going to use a pistol/scout scope on a set of throw lever rings. I can use that as I wish and hold zero. No worries about co-witness either.
