im looking to purchase a ak or ar style pistol not sure yet.  im interested to know if there are any feed or other problems when shortening up a ak.  thanks all!

5.45 and 7.62 cases are tapered for easy extraction, so there're very few problems with shorty Aks in these calibers. Don't know about .223 though.

I'm running a AMD pistol that runs great.

Also running a cutdown AMD pistol to 10.5 and no problem

This weekend we were test firing a Romainan kit that was cut down to 9" and it fuctioned OK the rails were too tight so it didn't cycle every time. One the action moves freely it should run great.

It was amazing how well we could hit with it, it barrel is 2" longer than my long slide .45 and at 100 yd it was shooting better than the longslide.
