After seeing the ads for CFS I just wonder what they consider a dark bore parts kits and what does that really mean for an AK that is going to be built up as a shooter?  I've got wall hanger guns that I have "displayed" inside of gun cases so perfect condition doesn't have to be the most important consideration.  I've heard that the dark bore barrels can be cleaned up...is the big concern with dark bores mostly cosmetic because you just can't tell if there's pitting or much rifling left until you clean out the barrel?  My main concern is that the muzzle doesn't swallow a bullet and there's some rifling left to at least make it a shooter or trunk gun.  TIA!
