Found out about it on GUNCO, about 10min after I ordered from Cope's.
Thought I'd save someone else the pain.

Weird...
That site looks just like Cope's site! All the way down to the descriptions. Maybe a partner of some type. ETA: Just did a whois and the technical contact is the same. Probably just use the same designer. |

There is just one Supplier that these stocks are imported by and thats Century arms, they sell it to TWO distributors who in turn sell it to all these mom and pop ak suppliers, depending on the ammount of stock these mom and pop shops buy is what they pay. Some shops are greedy and price them at double what they cost them and some try and make five dollars tops, which is a great mark up in any trade. I dont see them going down to the 25-30 dollar range as thats what they pay for them. Century will not sell to the public (i already called), They leave it up to the 2 distributors to flood the market. I was told that the Dealer warehouse is one of the distributors and that they sell them to the public at 67 dollars a piece. McM

i ordered that stock from that site about 2-3 weeks ago. sent them the paypal payment. the very next day the payment was sent back to me. they said they didnt have any in stock. they need to change that item to out of stock.
