Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vepr front sight change-out

I am considering a Vepr as my next AK.  I would like to take off the factory front sight and replace it with a Bulgy front sight block.  Has anyone tried this mod?  Thanks

The vepr uses a heavy barrel so the Bulgarian FSB may not fit.  Do you have a Bulgarian FSB ? They are hard to find these days.

I have a call in to Vepr to find out the barrrel diameter.  If it is too large it would not be a big deal to turn down the barel for a fit.  I have found a source for the sight block.  Thanks
