I'm thinking of just converting my 86 Romanian kit (Still waiting on a receiver....) into a German MPI-whatever fixed stock AKM clone. I already have the E.G mags and mag bag....

The E.German style synthetic with the pebbling on the buttstock has a Bakealite lower handguard and the pistol grip, upper handguard and the buttstock are all made from some polymer that has a shine to it in a Hershey Milk Chocolate brown color.  The lower bakelite handguard is a reddish brown marbled look.  HTH
