Dude, the rush was felt, now ya gotta go 7.62x39 with her
 I ran into this with my wife, let her run my first Kalish, a Mak 90, ever since then I try to hand her my AR with Ceiner conversion, she simply says "no it's not the same" can I shoot the AK. My ammo count gets harshed, but it is worth it.

A 10/22 is a good first gun for her. Get you some spinners targets and let her have fun. Just let her shoot the AK while yall are there. WarDawg

about 4 years ago i gave my wife (then girlfriend) an extra marlin semi-.22 that i had. it got her hooked. she has since added a 20gauge for shooting trap (she outshoots me almost every time). a minty Star BM 9mm for pistol plinking, and a romanian CUR 2 AK74. She is now in the process of picking out/buying a .243 for deer hunting next season. i may have created a monster
