I think the bolts on the .223s are a little different and so companies like RSA offer a hammer specifically for the SAR3. I'm just wondering if GT might have worked the angles on the G2s so they work on SAR3s as well. Anyone know for sure?

I'd go with the RSA on this one, it will work for sure...

Work = yes
But not right for the long haul. SAR3 parts are arranged in a way that the otherwise universal fcg hammer does not hit square at the back of the bolt assembly, but hits at an angle instead. Only Red Star Arms makes the correct geometry hammer for that gun. May as well get the full fcg from them, so it can make the ARs jealous. |
