Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - muzzle brake as compliance part

Have an ak-74 style brake on my 7.62 ak and have enough compliance parts but wonder about the brake. Bought it as- is at online auction and got it squared away (922) but have no history of build. Brake is unmarked but the finish sure doesn't look like it came from Warsaw pact nation. Does it have to be marked US to be compliant? Fairly new here and will try to post pic.

Doesnt have to be marked and chances are that it is USA since it has 14LH threads
