Hey folks,

I just picked up a Kalishnikov USA LOS-7-1 in .308 off of the Equipment Exchange, and was wondering how the reticle worked

I've used the 'standard' Dragunov reticle, and if my line of thinking is correct, a "deer-sized" target standing sideways to you would be lined up in between the verticle slashes to determine range.

If it fit fully within the dashes next to the '1', it would be at 100 Meters, and you would use the top inverted chevron for point-of-aim.

If it fully filled the dashes next to the '3', it would be at 300 Meters, and you would use the inverted chevron on that line for point-of-aim.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular style of reticle ?

Thanks.
