I wonder if you need to tighten screws to attach it? Too bad it doesn't have levers.

Leapers... ack.  I owned one of their weaver-style mounts many moons ago. The metal was so soft that when you torqued the screws to secure the mount, the jaws bent and the mount could only be removed by pounding it off with a rubber mallet. I won't use anything but throw-lever mounts, now. |

Leapers equals soft metal and cheap paint. Their warranty is impossible to collect on.
