About six months ago, I browsed through the pictures in a Russian gun forum. From all appearances, it seemed to be the .ru version of ARFCOM. Of course, I couldn't read a thing!

Actually some do.
ARs are very expensive and hard to get on civilian markets in E.Europe. Izhmash is actually making a copy of the TDI lower HG... |

I can't speak for the civilians , but while stationed in Germany we did some Nato stuff and met some German soilders.They had G3's that was pretty well worn. They told us they have shot the M16A1's and liked them. They really liked the weight ( Light.) . It would have been fun to shoot there G3's, but we didn't get to. They had the Range scheduled full for the days we was there. But ya know it's normal to be interested in the other guys weapons and rifles.... WarDawg
