Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone using the ace front sight clamp?

I like how the front sight has a full circle gaurd around the windage stud. I was thinking of moving my front sight back and permanently attaching a FH at 16"s.  This would be perfect for that since I could just take the FSB off and be done with it. The only drawback I see is that is shortens the sight radius.

My biggest question is how sturdy are they? I mean if I put one on and then drop my rifle on a rock will it hold zero? or would it be worth it just to change to the sight/gas block.
