Seems like some people dont realize these things are US made...just because its on Polytechs website doesnt mean its Chinese....I emailed and asked them which was pretty damn easy and here is their answer............
"Unlike most other parts listed on our website, this part is not original Poly Technologies mfg. , it is manufactured here in the U.S. Thanks, K F S, Inc." ......................................... hope this helps

But would they fit a Euro rifle? Is the handguard removeable from the gas tube? I wonder, cuz I have a tube shortened to fit an AMD65. I would like to have the ventilated metal handguard on it.

They take some fitting, but they will work on a Euro pattern.

why wouldnt count as a compliance part??????? Its US made. Ive had them before and I have one now on an NHM90, there just for looks...functionality is none existant. They require a little fitting on all guns, no big deal.

It takes an upper and lower to count as one compliance part where as a pistol grip and buttstock count as two.

One Ventilated Upper HG + ANY other US Made Lower HG = One Compliance Part It's all in the math Boys!!

yeah thats a pretty gay law, I mean whats the difference in a trigger group made in the us and the exact same trigger group made in china? Nothing thats what I thought

DeHamma... I'm not sure anyone completely addressed your inquiry. The ventilated top handguard / gas tube assembly sold by polytechparts comes as a gas tube welded to the handguard. The handguard does not separate from the tube unless one breaks the spot welds.
