What can the AK guru's tell me about the Leather German parade AK slings ???

Brown leather sling,kinda thin and narrow enough for the small loop East German buttstocks.AA-OK used to have them in stock,or you may find them at Northridge.

I have one. Was just curious about the collectiblity / rarity of them.
I'm assuming that they were just used for parades, formal type stuff ?

Not sure, but they are probably from the earlier milled guns.
