I'd really like to build an AMD at some point...

are there kits availible anywhere?

Anyone want to sell me one out of their personal stash?

I'd sure like to build up a 65 or a 63 to original spec.

(Doesnt' the 63 have a fixed stock and wood grips? Thats the one I REALLY like.)

good luck finding an AMD63 kit.  They dried up long before the AMD65s did.  

It's not impossible, you just will pay dearly for someone's stash...

ETA..

Yes, the AMD 63 is the full stocked version with a 16" barrel

I bought a 65 from a buddy for $100 yesterday. They are up to $250.

 The guy is one hell of a friend.
