I would say it is still a sporter as long as there is no separate pistol grip.

Look at the choate stock set. I was impressed that it seemed sturdier and had them on two of mine until the avail of US manuf FCGs. Better yet----MOVE!

+1 I had both a choate & a fiber force. The Choate is by far the better of the two. |

I'd sure hate to replace a thumbhole stock with a thumbhole stock.
