John at Arsenal saw what happened to the people of the Gulf Coast and it really affected him. He came to this country in the 70's and it is his home.
He got together with several of the MIGETA forum members/smiths/companies to organize this. All the money taken into by these auctions are going to help Katrina victims all over the Gulf Coast. No "administrative" costs are deducted. 100% of the auction money is going to help the victims in the Gulf Coast, which means Mississippi and Louisiana and Alabama. I will try to get the absolute particulars as to what group it is going to, but I'm fairly certain it's not the Red Cross. I do know that John has contributed a whole lot of his personal money towards this. It's for real. |
