Soooo............ for an AK that shoots .223, at what level of magnification is it overkill?   Should one stay in the 1-4x range?  I got a fixed 5x and I am curious if i went too high.

%x may be a little high when you consider that ACOG's are 4x and most AR people consider that optimum (I think??). A variable 1-4x I think is the best option.
