I shoot 7,62 Barnaul and 5,45 Barnaul at indoors ranges all the time, neither will pass a magnet test. Does your RO know the rounds are failing magnet tests because of the minimal amount of steel in the jacket? The cores are lead.

No problems with the SLR-105.
Most indoor ranges don't like to see the bullets sparking on their backstop. Pics of today at the range: My SLR-105A1 with my Colt A2......  My buddy's SLR-105A1 with the standard black NATO length buttstock and his Stoner SR-15.

Check the ammo section, I've got a photo there of 7,62 and 5,45 barnaul. Put the dremel on both, just might help the next time you've got to explain yourself to ignorant RO's
